Initially, learning about financial theories in class seemed abstract and unrelated from what I envisioned as my ideal career path. However, an internship at a financial institution completely changed my perception of finance. The excitement, risk and presicion required by the tasks at hand was what got me hooked on the field of finance. It was also great to see stuff you learn in the classroom being applied and practiced.
Work in the finance field as a financial analyst or investment banker. I would also consider going into the managerial or operations consulting field.
