Yellow Rose

The Yellow Rose party is a celebration in honor of the Yellow Rose Society. It is a formal social event which allows the active brothers to have fun, relax from the rigorous university schedule, and also fundraise for Yellow Rose Society. The Yellow Rose Society recognizes gifts from undergraduate members to the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation’s annual fund. Those gifts help support scholarships, The Academy and the All-AKPsi Academic Team.

Demit & Install (D&I)

D&I is the last official social event of each semester. It is a formal party that symbolizes the end of the semester and the beginning of the next one. The graduating active brothers are honored and it is customary that they wear the color red, while the newly initiated brothers wear all white formalwear. The exiting executive-board is honored as well, as they pass the baton to the newly elected one.

Exchanges

Alpha Kappa Psi is an international fraternity, which has many chapters in the Southern California region. At Alpha Zeta, we constantly strive to strengthen our relationships with the different chapters in the area. We do this by inviting other chapters to our events, and also by planning joint events. These relationships are an invaluable advantage of being a brother at Alpha Kappa Psi.
