Alpha Kappa Psi will be hosting a visit to Mr. Warren Buffett's offices in Omaha, Nebraska from January 8 – January 10, 2009(Weekend before Spring Semester begins). This unique opportunity is OPEN TO ALL Marshall Business majors, graduate and undergraduate alike. Please note that a limited number of spots in the trip will be granted to Alpha Kappa Psi members who are accepted.
Tentative Itinerary:
Thursday, January 8th
*Depart Los Angeles in the early afternoon.
*Check into hotel.
*Rest of the evening on your own.
Friday, January 9th
*Q&A/Tour at Nebraska Furniture Mart (A Berkshire Hathaway Subsidiary).
*Presentation/Q&A Session with Mr. Buffet at Berkshire Hathaway.
*Lunch with Mr. Buffet (his treat) at Piccolo Pete's restaurant (An Omaha steakhouse-there will also be vegetarian options).
*Q&A/Tour at Borsheims (A Berkshire Hathaway Subsidiary).
*Back to the hotel
*Rest of the evening on your own.
Saturday, January 10th
*Have breakfast at the hotel and then depart to Los Angeles in the late morning.
The cost of this trip is estimated to be $600-$800 per person. (Please note: There will not be any financial assistance for this trip).
To be considered for this trip, you must be a student at the Marshall School of Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Applications can be found either in HOH 200 or online at Alpha Kappa Psi's website, www.uscakpsi.net. Applications must be turned in by no later than 5pm on Friday, October 24th, 2008 in HOH 200. Students selected to participate in this trip will be contacted by October 31st, 2008.
